Privacy policy

Simple Subs does not collect any data about you or your players. There is no account to create, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no server. The app has no way to send your information anywhere.

Everything you enter - teams, players, formations, matches and reports - is stored in files on your own device, inside the app's private storage, and is included in your device backup if you have one turned on. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

Because nothing is collected, there is nothing to request, correct, export or delete from us. We hold no copy of your data.

Where information can leave your device - and only when you send it

Reports you share. When you tap Share on a report, the app hands a PDF to iOS and you choose where it goes. That is your action and your choice of destination; the app is not involved after that.
QR codes and links. Formations and rosters can be shared screen-to-screen by QR code, or by a link you send yourself. Roster sharing is deliberately screen-to-screen only, because a roster contains children's names and jersey numbers.
Purchases. The one-time upgrade is handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We never see your payment details, your Apple Account, or your name - only whether this device is entitled to the purchase.

Camera

The app asks for camera access only when you scan a QR code shared by another coach. Images are read to decode the code and are never stored or transmitted.

Children

Simple Subs is a tool for coaches, not a service for children. Player names and jersey numbers you type in are yours: they stay on your device and are never sent to us or to anyone else.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
